(rebirth/antibirth save files are called persistentgamedata.dat while afterbirth's go by ab_persistentgamedata. At the moment, Antibirth doesnt have its own save files and thus opening Vanilla Rebirth after playing Antibirth, can overwrite your Antibirth Save Files, for this reason, as of the most recent update, the rebirth button has been removed entirely. Then, if you restart steam in online mode, when you launch "The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth" from your library it should reacquire your 'afterbirth' files from the cloud, but the antibirth files won't be overwritten and the game should continue to work. Antibirth Music+++ is an extended, polished version of Antibirth Music++ that adds various options and tracks. The savedata should be found and the game should launch fine, and the continue option should be available. So now in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\\250900\ directory I had 3 things:īackup directory (containing the remote directory + remotechache)įinally, set SteamCloud=1 in the options.ini file, and launch the game. The save data for me was located at:Ĭ:\Users\Ben\Documents\My Games\Binding of Isaac Rebirth\ persistentgamedata1.dat & persistentgamedata2.dat I then made a new folder (as a backup) and dropped the 'remote' directory and 'remotecache.vdf' into it.Īfter, I restarted steam in offline mode, and copied my antibirth save data into the 25900 directory. What I ended up doing was, going to the remote directory for isaac, which on my machine was:Ĭ:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\\250900\ But setting it to "SteamCloud=1" seemed to erase all of my progress. You'll see some files there, the ones with 'ab' at the beginning are from afterbirth don't delete those. About the antibirth one, I don't know if anyone has gotten a full one on it. Here is the rebirth one, which is the one used in antibirth. I've been playing antibirth with "SteamCloud=0" in the 'options.ini' file, but haven't been able to access the continue feature. oh yeah, I made a mistake, that's an afterbirth file. Hey man, just ran into something similar today.
